Achilles and Hector are warriors who are born to lead and fight. Achilles, a warrior of King Agamemmnon. The greatest fighter of Troy. Achilles fights for his city. He do not just go to war. He is a man of character who is born to fight and protect his city. While Hector, the noblest warrior of Troy and the leader of the Trojans. Hector is known to be peace-loving and brave, thoughtful as well as brave, a good son, father and husband and totally has no dark motives. These men go to war and fight for their characters and cities but they are both destined to die.
"
While Hector is preparing for the war, Andromache, his wife begs that her husband should not go to war and just stay with them. But Hector is destined by the gods to die first. He accepted it to protect his son and his city. While Achilles who fights for his king and is very obedient. Achilles will always fight for his honor and choose to die rather than live a long inconsequential life. He said that he'd rather go home to his motherland that he will stay, fight bravely, and die famously than live a long and brutal life. For me the statement that is given in the question number 3 is not true. Yes, wars do claim many lives. But those lives are the lives of men who fought with honor and dignity. No, wars doesn't spoil one's character. Sometimes it helps men face the ugly truth about life. Im not just talking about wars, but also problems. Sometimes big problems transform boys into men. It helps us teenagers like us to learn more and know more about life.
